Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork Chops with Five-spice

Ingredients

  • 4-6 pork chops, about 2 lbs of meat, you can butterfly each pork chop
  • 1 cups of Lemon Grass finely minced
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp of black pepper
  • 8 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 1 cup of light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of dark soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp of fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp of honey
  • 3-4 tbsp of palm sugar or brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp of five-spice

Directions

Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Add the pork chops and marinade for at least 24 hours. Grill pork chops until done and serve with Jasmine rice. Garnish with scallions, Thai chilies and cilantro.
