Ingredients for Thai Basil sauce

  • 2 cups fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 1 table spoon of Honey
  • 2-3 table spoons of Canola oil or Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons dark sesame oil
  • Fish Sauce optional
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper (I used fresh Birds Eye Chili’s)
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • Fresh cracked black pepper to taste


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. I have used it on Shrimp, Halibut and Chicken so far.
